1. General
The following Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions and all orders are made subject to your acceptance of them.  Please read them carefully before placing your order as your order will be accepted strictly on the understanding that you accept these conditions of sale.  Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall affect your statutory rights.  We may not be able to accept your order, or part of your order, due to one of the following reasons:

- authorisation of your payment failed
- we made a pricing or product description error
- you are requesting delivery outside the UK
- the product you have requested has been discontinued by the manufacturer

If there are any problems with an order, you will be contacted by us immediately.


2. Trading Name
All orders are placed with Traditional Cookers of Yorkshire Limited, Unit 6 Marston Business Park, Tockwith, York, YO26 7QF.  The Company Registration Number is 07552720.


3. Prices
Prices are quoted by the Company in £ Sterling inclusive of VAT but exclusive of delivery charges, which shall be as ruling at the date of our acceptance of the order.  The company reserves the right to invoice the goods at the price ruling at the date of despatch.  An order acknowledgement reference number will be given to you when your order is accepted and any items which are out of stock will notified to you by telephone or e-mail.

The Company reserves the right to revise prices and details without notice.


4. Delivery
Delivery will be charged at the rate of ruling at date of order.  All orders received will be despatched within two working days subject to availability.  Delivery will be to the UK or Channel Island addresses only.  All goods must be signed for by an adult aged 18 years or over, and if no one is available at the address at the time of delivery, the goods will be retained by the driver.  Notification of the attempt to delivery will be left by the delivery company.  Failure to organise redelivery or collection of the goods from a local collection point will result in goods being returned to us.

Please note that delivery can take place anytime up to 5.30pm, unfortunately we are unable to offer timed deliveries.


5. Payment
Payment may be made by Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, Switch or Maestro at the time of order and the Company will make reasonable endeavours to ensure that your order and payment details remain secure.


6. Guarantee
Each product carried its own manufacturers guarantee but if for any reason you are not completely satisfied please contact us.  Our office hours are Monday to Friday from 9.00am until 4.00pm.  Alternatively you can e-mail us on enquiries@traditional-cooker.co.uk.


7. Returned Goods
If goods are damaged in transit please notify us immediately by telephoning 01423 359323.  Our office hours are Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 4.00pm.  Details of how to return goods for any other reason can also be obtained by telephoning this number or by e-mailing enquiries@traditional-cooker.co.uk.

Please have your order confirmation number available at the time of telephoning.  Any refunds given will be made to the account which payment was taken from for your purchase(s).  Under no circumstances will a cheque, credit note or cash be issued by way of refund.


8. Third Party/Public Liability
Save in so far as defects in the products or the negligence of the Company cause death or personal injury the Company shall in no circumstances be under any liability in contract, tort or otherwise for direct or indirect consequential or incidental loss or damages whatsoever kind and howsoever caused, suffered by the Customer or others arising out of or in connection with the sale, supply or operation of goods under these Terms, save as may be expressly imposed by statute.  Without prejudice to the foregoing the Company's liability for any loss or damage shall be limited to the invoice value of the goods.


9. Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and construed in all aspects in respect of the laws in England and shall be subject only to the jurisdiction of the English courts.


10. Reliance on Information on our Services
Information published regarding our products is intended solely for the purpose of providing general information and is not intended to amount to advice on which reliance should be placed.  We do not warrant that any Materials are accurate or free from error and we disclaim all liability and responsiblity arising from any reliance placed on any content on our products by you or by anyone who may be informed of any of the contents of our products.

You acknowledge that when using our products you may be exposed to Materials from a variety of sources and that we are not responsible for the content, truth, accuracy, usefulness or safety of such Materials.  We do not endorse any User Contributions or any opinion, recommendation or advice expressed in any User Contribution and we disclaim any and all liability in connection with such User Contributions or other material.


11. Personal Information
All personal information, for example, names, addresses, telephone numbers, payment details etc. are kept entirely confidential, soley for the use by the company for any products purchased and will not be passed to any third party.
